Why do Europeans assume that Democracy is not possible?
If it works for Europe why won't it work elsewhere?

Do Europeans think that is not possible, or do they prefer that the region remain unstable?
Give it time, I think you will be amazed what is possible if you dare to attempt to do the things that conventional wisdom claims are impossible.
There is no valid reason why Democracy can't be built into Iraq: Just as it was built into Japan, Germany, and all the nations of the Former Soviet Block (Save Cuba).
