The only place a congressional committee meetings on a return to the Moon would make front page news is on a space news website.
Dean has enough problems with his rebel flag remark and other "come to haunt you later statements" that will reappear when the country starts listening to the Democrats running for POTUS...I don't think he will flesh out a manned Mars mission. He doesn't have to.
The rumor is...that Bush Jr. will announce a return to the Moon on the anniversary of Kitty Hawk. This is so much like 'father like son'...can everyone say the 90 day plan...oh and Iraq.
