That you can seriously equate Rall with the barrage of lies Coulter and limbaugh come up with is astonishing. Limbaugh talked to 20 million people (IIRC) and made up lies every day against the Democrats. Lying and trying to destroy a political party on this scale shows no repect to a political process. Rall doesn't like Republicans either, that doesn't mean he hates the country. On that standard so does Limbaugh. Coulter wrote a whole book saying it was an act of treason to have any left wing ideas.
The right attacked Clinton through his whole term with no respect at all for the democratic process, try reading the "Hunting of the President". What about all those times DeLay and Lott, etc attacked Clinton for going into Kosovo? There was no suggestion then of supporting the president in foreign policy.
Your problem is you are defending pigs, liars, frauds, and crooks and then whining when the left gets a spine against it. The right has been so disgusting in this sort of thing over the years. It makes at least for a welcome laugh to see them complain when their own tactics are used against them.
Hypocrisy is not part of a political platform, it's just a blight on democracy. When the right applies equal standards to both sides and enforces their own then people like Ted Rall will calm down on their own. When was the last time we heard the Republican party tell Coulter and Limbaugh to retract any lies?
