It's now recognized not only are the baathists ambushing US troops but others too. A few also come from outside.
Anyway, for the moment, the US and UK troops are considered as occupants. Will it be the same for UN troops? The Iraqis would know UN troops have a very different agenda from the ones at the place, now.

Time will tell.
