As just one example, if you go through Rumsfeld's interviews, he never lets one go by without impressing on the press the number of things that have been turned over to Iraqis, and the ever-increasing numbers of Iraq's own security forces, their work on rebuilding, and the other ways in which they are taking their country back.
I can't believe the press is treating the idea that we want Iraq to be responsible for its own future like this was just announced yesterday.
