The whole thing is far more complicated than laws or legal issues, religion or morality but really leads to many things almost completely unaddressed and unknown at this time. Naturally you wanted controversy - I'll provide heaps of it.

It boils down to energy expression and progressive development. Homosexuality/Lesbianism has always been existent and its the result of reverse polarities:

A female incarnated in a male body or a male incarnated in a female body.

Let's say out of 100 lifetimes you live 80 of them male and 20 female. In this instance you will be a strong male polarity and whenever you incarnate you will display certain strong male characteristics even your genetics will be accustomed to certain patterns and will tend towards broad shoulders, deeper voice, etc.

Now should you incarnate as a woman? You will be a very masculine looking woman. Likely still with the broad shoulders, deeper voice, facial structure, etc.

Naturally the same thing is true for someone who lives 80 lives female and 20 lives male. when they incarnate as a male they will appear to be more feminized (i.e. softer spoken, narrow shoulders, facial structure, etc.)

Prejudice against these individuals is preposterous because ALL of us have at one time or another incarnated as members of the opposite sex. Often this unfamiliarity leads to behavior patterns which revert to their stronger biased established wave form structures female polarity men will act more like women and male polarity women will act more like men.

However, here is where the issue becomes complicated. Evolutionary development requires balanced expression. Progressive development of an individual requires the dual polarity of (+ and - ) interchanges.

The male who acts on his female impulses as a male (or a female who acts on her male impulses) will almost always deteriorate their developed mental and experience structures and create imbalanced relationships. This is because the + + or - -oscillation cancels out certain signals. The relationship seldom manifests as a male and female polarity but either two strong female polarities or two strong male polarities merging.

Unfortunately, this leads to narcisstic and selfish tendencies or what could eventually be labeled as a more "evil" outlook over time. The longterm prognosis for such relationships is not good at all. And I am not just talking about one lifetime here. I am talking about a pattern of incarnating in a body that doesn't represent ones true experience patterns.

You see, these folks end up incarnating again in these reverse polarity roles until they learn to recapture the balance they lost along the way.

Indeed, the balanced individual has easily lived 60/40 lifetimes has both male and female understandings yet when incarnated as one or the other never behaves contrary to their physical gender. They are not overly biased as either "macho" nor as "ultra feminine" they compose the large majority of folks on this planet.

As you can see the overbias of anything - even gender association - can create an imbalance.

Let's take, as an example, someone who overly biases being male as extremely positive and has in many lifetimes dismissed women as inferior, weak or subserviant to the male. They may be very masculine moreso than the average man. Unfortunately this overbias is just one side of a waveform - the opposite side will have to be expressed. You guessed it! Joe macho incarnates as a woman and feels trapped. She (he) strongly resents anything feminine and will not conform to the stereotype role she is supposed to play - or vice-versa where the female incarnated as a male wholly rejects the male stereotype.

Now here is where someone with this expanded horizon can see that this is a lesson - a lesson in balance and that this person has harmonically attracted a situation which will afford them a valuable learning experience once they realize it. By fighting those impulses and biases and recapturing equilibrium you develop that balance and the free give and change of energy between opposite polarities. If one continues to be resentful and express with same polarity one will, like I mentioned earlier, slowly degrade the ability to interact in a balanced manner at all.

This is why the communities that attract a preponderance of reverse polarities tends towards sexual promiscuity and often other more degenerate activities coinciding with this reverse expression. It's a retrogressive interaction. Unfortunately, while it may be PC to accept these lifestyles, from a more infinite perspective one can see how scientifically they are doing themselves mental harm and will eventually need to address and be aware of the very things I mention here.

That's why I don't support gay marriage - because it is socially destructive and more importantly it is not good to encourage folks who don't have a clue as to why they are the way they are and fail to realize that there is a fundamental issue in their personality and social interaction that needs to be addressed. The mirror principle is a valuable tool here as well. For those folks who shout persecution were almost always the persecutors of the past. And it is for this reason that they find themselves in a situation whereby they must feel the same thing they dished out to others - so as to recognize the imbalance in their own thinking process.

No religions, laws and morals are irrelevant to the person's own well being and the course of their evolutionary development from one lifetime to the next.

Balance must be achieved. same polarity unions slowly degenerate these developed structures and the waveform simply wont propagate.

That is why reverse polarity relationships lead to all sorts of unhappiness, self-recriminations, confusion and general feelings of being displaced, often spiralling downwards towards suicidal tendencies, criminal activity, drug use, etc. They fail to look within and address their own relationships or their own prejudices and biases and as a result lash out at others more and more. Even their facial features begin to scowl and pout as this negative consciousness and unhappiness becomes ever stronger and pervasive over time* Religions perceived this as evil, however the truth is it was the manifestation of a retrogressive interaction which led to a lowering of intelligence.

It's not a matter of being perverse or immoral - the fundamental truth is it's not scientifically sound and as such it leads to retrogression for both the individuals involved and the society that becomes overly imbalanced with such activities. There are no exceptions. Energy doesn't make exceptions.

Sure there are apparently examples of happy same-polarity couples, but by large and far there is much more untold unhappiness, narcisstic behavior and promiscuity based on such self-serving behavior.

Lawsuits are just another pattern of this unhappiness finding an outlet. They seek public affirmation and acceptance of what they subconsciously know is imbalanced. Unfortunately, they will always fail to find equilibrium and will always be blaming others for their unhappiness regardless of their legal union status.

Naturally, I don't expect many here to concur with any of this but I was obligated to share such a view. Sharing hard to come by knowledge is the way one, in turn, receives more of it. ;-)
