Any cash withdrawal over $10K must be reported to the feds. If many withdrawals just under 10K are on record over a short period it opens the possibility of prosecution under the RICO statutes.

The RICO laws have morphed into a favorite Justice Department gambit to go after targeted individuals who are not really involved with organized crime. It's another way to make a "federal case" out of it with penalties greater than State sentencing guidelines for first offenses.

If Rush's withdrawals were over 10K or not suspiciously below 10K and coincidental to his drug purchases he will have no problem. With a good lawyer he may not have a problem under any circumstances.
