Hell, you can say that for most of Romney's primary opponents, as well as Palin, Trump, Joe Walsh, and most of the TPers, as well as many of the GOP luminaries, particularly in the House and in local offices..
You know, this has nothing to do with ideology. I know there must be a lot of smart, reasonable, thoughtful conservatives (like Will, Krauthammer, Rove) out there asking themselves the same question (but afraid to say it out loud):
"How the hell did all these drooling cretins manage to take over my Party?"
