All people would speak the same language.

All people would be the same race.

There would be one worldwide religion based on a single deity and no prophets. Take it or leave it.

Ok same language: How would this help? One language ... The rules and syntax of the language you speak affect your thinking... diverse thinking leads to diverse discoveries...I dont want a 1 language world- I want a multilingual world where enough people are multi lingual that we can understand eachother....

Same race?! what race do you want? I believe that a plethora of different viewpoints helps us... The roots of our technilogical superiority can be traced back to WW2 and our taking in the best minds of many races as they fled oppresive regimes.... ONE race? No thank you- I assume, (assuming the best about you), that you think one race would elimenate bigotry... it wouldnt- we, being humans would come up with other reasons to hate eachother... bigotry will go away if we were all identical... what could we accomplish if we were all identical...? NOTHING!

My father taught college physics.. one semester he had a student that was going after an engineering degree- a native american- my dad would grade all the papers but save his paper for last... he was nearly always right, but the way he arrived at the answer was so different from the norm that my dad would light a pipe and enjoy grading it... so, differing cultures and backgrounds give us an advantage...

as for one religion, I am an atheist, I do not give a damn what myth you believe in, all I care about is that you dont let your myth interfere with rationality... Mohammed, Jesus, Buddah, etc... the main rule is leave the world a better place- That is all that matters, any other dogma is silly nonsense HUMANS created... I dont have a big problem with religion, except for the fact humans make the rules of religion... If you live a life trying to make life better and that isnt enough for a given deity, then screw the deity! Is that the sort of creature you want to worship?! The God described in the bible has the reason and compassion of a 4 year old... he would be guilty of murder in the first if held on trial.... I think it is safe to say the most of us have exercised much more morality than that attributed to god..

What 3 choices would I make?

1) Humanity thinks long term...
2) we stop concentrating on OJ, Michael Jackson, Barretta, Durst, Paris Hilton, and what brittany spears did last week, and start thinking about what means something!

3) We act like adults!
