Playing God
Very dangerous in the real world. If I were really given the opportunity to make changes with the understanding that if I declined the offer would be passed until someone accepted, I would be torn between three meaningless wishes and something more significant in an attempt to help. No way would I pass it on.
Tom probably has the right idea to wish for innovations and let them effect the future. However, vast resources also present certain dangers.
