Oh, yeah, the rich in this country were all for Reagan, just like they're all for Bush right now. We never saw any millionaires who hated Reagan. For that matter, we are currently seeing no rich people at all railing about how evil Bush is.

In 1984, Reagan got over 54 million votes, to about 38 million for Mondale. Am I to understand that we have 54 million filthy rich people in America?

And maybe the Democrats had better update their "Party of the Working Man" sales pitch. It doesn't play as well as it did in the 1930s, and most people are beginning to realize that a party that thrives off exploiting a poor and angry constituency has no real interest in seeing that constituency become well-off and satisfied.
