Unfortunately they 10% you are referring to isn't true. The rich made much more percentage wise under Reagan than the poor did. Chance to advance is a nice phrase, unfortunately it was like having a chance to advance by playing Roulette. Your Post seems to boil down to: "I've got mine so everything must be ok". Some people didn't get theirs because of Reagan and they weren't happy about it, no matter how many floating boat analogies you have they don't count like having money in the pocket.

I don't follow the Democrat argument, Reagan wanted to cut welfare, the Democrats didn't. The poor get the welfare. What part of this is not clear to you? Some people start off poor and get rich like you, others start off poor and stay poor. That the rich are getting richer despite the smoke and mirrors is irrefutable.
