There isn't much detail given, except to mention the classic free electron trajectory model, and it's well known that earth's magnetosphere is a rather complicated business, which isn't mentioned at all. IMO a bar graph just doesn't cut it. I suppose this might be more of a research proposal for TUI's next government grant application. I don't have any problem with that, people have to eat, but the concept doesn't look well developed yet.
