Yes Mary Anne, sometimes I feel the same.....and we become passionate about what we believe in, so we take a lot of this personally. It's like kick boxing. We get out the anger and avoid the punches. My boss is an asshole. But I can never tell him that.
If he were posting here, I could tell him that.....well, almost.
Our heated discussions here are CATHARTIC. I have learned to be more precise about my persuasions and political leanings. And I have been tempered by MANY on this board. I hate to admit it, but some of the posters I disagree with most, are the ones I still respect. I won't name names here (won't give you guys one inch!), but this place has helped to focus me as an individual, and has given me plenty of hours of real time entertainment.
I always read you and Raoul and Fox, for you are like salves over here in this right wing hornet nest. But, if it weren't for us taking them on....little by little, what would they have? I see threads where they predominate, and then I'll see something simple and BRILLIANT from the other side.....and voila! Life is transformed once again.
