Current Events » in reply to Meanwhile: U.S. General Says Qaeda, Iraq Links May Be Growing

So, let me get this straight...

Is your position that there would never, ever, be any conditions under which Saddam and the Baathists and al Qaeda could cooperate, a position firmly held by many anti-war people?

Or is your position that under sufficient incentive, they could cooperate just fine, but for some obscure reason, known only to yourself, the only incentive that could possibly qualify is the invasion of Iraq by the Bush Administration, and not many others, like a common decades-long hatred of America and Israel?

Under the latter supposition, what possible evidence can you present that such links could not always have been there?

As Rob points out, the quote is from the reporter, who, being from Reuters, would rather be eaten by shrieking eels than admit that there may have been such links before the war. Do I have to go over the evidence, like a fifth time?

You're flailing all over the place.
