I thinkthis is what you and Tom are referring to. There is a disproportionate number of blacks murdered mainly by other blacks.
One surprising stat- Gang related homicide by race.
Victims: 58.2% white, 38.4% black.
Offenders:56.7% white, 39.1%
I guess these are percentages of the total, not per capita by race.
