Are you suggesting that the United States should base its foreign policy with N. Korea on a BBC television program that is essentially hearsay?
No wonder Pres. Bush and members of his adminstration were able to convince the public of the need to invade Iraq simply by waving around bogus documents and by making breathless, but ultimately spurious claims.
Since you are a student of WWII, you may recall that Hitler justified his invasion of Poland by falsly claiming that the Poles had attacked Germany. When considering sensational stories like that telecast by the BBC, it is worth remembering that many modern wars have been justified with lies.
Additionally, there are those bothersome but still valid principles of national sovereignty and international law to consider. The United States did not wage war with Nazi Germany because of any holocaust, but rather because that nation declared war on us.
