It's possible that the clothes-ripping intended to appear to expose a breast without doing so. There could have been a covering or pastie or whatever that was supposed to stay with the flesh, but went with the clothing.
In any case: BFD! Americans should strive to be a bit more mature than this. Or they could move to Pennsylvania to live with the neo-puritans. On second thought, I've heard that the various "Dutch" have a more sensible attitude towards nudity than your average American.
When I was in Utah, I saw more friend's wive's breasts than I expected to (or wanted to). We are mammals; we need to get over it.
PS for Victorians: Utah reference has to do with breast-feeding.
