Don't worry Don, the dems will lose the next election - despite ALL the "journalists" efforts to paint the war as futile or purposeless - and they will lose horribly. It'll make the congressional sweep look like a close shave. I can't fathom the mindset that can picture Kerry or Dean as the savior of anything. Unsympathetic? That doesn't begin to describe Kerry. Undiagnosed psychosis? That doesn't begin to describe Dean. You basically have to have fallen on your head as a child to desire either of those two in the Presidency.

But hey, there's no accounting for taste. Socialism and lack of intellect go hand in hand throughout the world - why should the US be any different. Lots of rebellious kids (14-19 year olds) in the world who listen to ghetto music and do drugs share this view. Usually they grow out of it - but sometimes they don't and so they become journalists or work for the government in some capacity.

It's always interesting to me how grown adults can maintain the equivalent of a political arrested adolescence that sees republicans as fat cats destroying the environment and preying upon the proletariat, without ever seeing the bigger picture?

Emotional immaturity? Obsession? Frustration?

Someone please let me know when I'm getting close...
