No matter how one feels about the war, the fact that 528 Americans have died fighting a war in a foreign land should be cause for soul searching and contemplation. Every life that has been so abruptly extiguished is is important. Every life that's lost an awful tragedy.

My remarks have nothing to do partisan politics and the presidential election. They have everything to do with the fact that this war was completely unnecessary. The sanctions and inspections were working. Mr. Hussein was effectively contained and defanged. He posed no real threat to the American people.

Your post cheapens the loss of 528 American sons and daughters. Its apparent that they are no more important to you than the toilet paper you use to wipe with. This has nothing to do with flippant remarks about being "doomed." This has everything to do with young people from this nation dying in pursuit of weapons of mass destruction that did not exist.
