re: old quotes that support what I am saying

the quotes said regarless of their truth "developing nuclear weapons" and "iminent threat".

That means in the process of developing. You aren't armed with a nuclear weapon until you've finished developing one.

Also iminent was always used in conjunciton with 'threat'. They never said "an attack by Iraq against us is iminent", they said "iminent threat", or that "the time when iraq can threaten us with an attack is close at hand.

I would admit that the language is carefully worded to sound more ominous that it is (there is a reason for that, but I have talked it to death and you don;tcare anyway), but you can at least hammer out the truth in it, as it is literally what they thought to be true at the time. Whereas what the article is saying is either a flat out lie, or stupidity, take your pick. I will remind you the article said "armed with nuclear weapons" and "will attack", which I have sufficiently shown is different from "developing nuclear weapons" and "iminent threat" as your own sources show.
