Which leads me to two suspicions:

A: It's all a load of buffalo biscuits.

B: The Republicans did not drop this bomb. They would have waited until Kerry had the nomination sewn up and dropped the bomb late in the season, kind of like the Bush DUI grenade. But if not the Republicans, who?
