Thanks for posting those spherules images... I just wanted to see if I could get a good view of those halved spheres. ;) It's still hard to make out the details at their centers, but there are similarities. An interesting coincidence is that the 'whole' ones on the surface are showing the same pattern/s at their tops.
It's a great image of the soil and I do like the color. Good choice!
