Fundamentalism and Science
I have a little article , in french, I'd like to translate :
"Those funamentalisms are reactionary and non-creative. They're merely manifestations of fear. You don't have to go to school to become a fundamentalist, nor work, nor learn whatever there is: you only have to affirm it and feel yourself a just.
Science, on the contrary, is creative, demands work, admits physical reality is the ultimate referee, improves itself all the time, provides us with a certain control over nature and sufferance.
Going to Mars would be a scientific prowess. In the battle for human civilization, its a symbol of progress and humanism".
(I belive it was written by Richard Heidmann, from Société Planète Mars).
