There certainly have been more reported cases of sexual abuse among that group.
I recall a spate of anti-Muslim garbage right after 911 that alleged to document sexual abuse of Muslim boys by Muslim men as a matter of course, based loosely on the known condition of women's low social status in some Muslim societies. In this way, Muslims could be characterized not only as sex offenders and child abusers, but also homosexuals, a galvanizing feature in some circles.
Several of these accounts were linked to on this site, which is where I became aware of them.
After considerable yelling, and no credible evidence of sexual abuse as a widespread practice among devout Muslims, they went away. I see now that they still live. Perhaps the next bulletin will include Muslims poisoning the wells and eating pastries made with the blood of American children.
