..my original question was: would pig lard stop these guys? If their actions and hatred are *primarily* motivated by ferocious islamism, then knowing that their exploded bodies will be 'tainted' by contact with pig fat *would* stop them. But if the islamism is just a cover or a cloak for politically motivated stuff - then maybe this wouldn't work.
Similarly, if sexual abuse had anything to do with it (which you mention - I never heard about this before), then religious barriers would again have little effect.
So my post was, in effect, asking for opinions about the nature of suicide bombings in Israel. Your replies Scott have some interesting ideas but are a bit too inflammatory ..in my opinion.
