re: More information on Wind Farms
The successful wind farms here in central Calif. (Altamont Pass) are being hammered by the environmentalist with claims of killing too many birds.
Didn't see any discussions on Cape Wind Farms and the birds.
I would think a cage with openings small enough to keep birds out around those massive propellers would defer too much wind or at least diminish the wind velocity thus reducing perfomance.
What's a farmer to do?
