(Well, I do have to admit, it's faster and doesn't bsod you at the drop of an electron, which means I've not figured out how to make it crash yet.))
Hi Richard
FWIW the BSOD is a darker shade of blue now. Which means I have managed to figure out how to make it crash. For me putting Outlook, an Excel Document, and IE into the Sartup Folder. Then having IM set to log in automatically, would crash my XP box about every 5th login. Oh there was also a batch file running on login too to map the network drives.
I took Outlook and IE out of the Startup and everything has been fine ever since.

PS to be truthful I wouldn't get the BSOD right away, instead I got my background with no icons no startup bar. I could ctrl-alt-delete, where I sometimes ran into the BSOD.
