Refusing to tell the American people what they knew leads reasonable people to assume they could have prevented that attack.

It seems to me that if GWB & Co. are going to use 9-11 in the campaign that the American public, Republican, Democrat, military, civilian, everyone, deserves to know exactly what they knew and when they knew it.

For GWB and Cheney to be able to find only one hour to talk to only a couple of the members of the commission GWB appointed is an insult to the commission and all Americans, wouldn't you agree? I mean, this was the biggest crime against America since Pearl Harbor.

For Rice to refuse to testify publically, and for all of them to refuse to testify under oath, don't you think that justifies Americans to assume they are going to lie?

After all, for most Americans lying to an FBI agent is a felony - but these people won't take an oath to testify to a hand-picked commission. Or won't talk to the commission.

When a politician hides information it is invariably derogatory. And GWB & Co. are doing everything they can to hide.

I'm assuming they could have prevented 9-11, and are still using that as a campaign issue. That seems to be a much safer assumption than that they are concerned the American people know the truth. They aren't acting as if that were the case.

I wish they would dissuade me.
