I'm not saying that GWB & Co. is to blame and Clinton is blameless. I don't know. (I do know the political climate prior to 9-11 wasn't conducive to extremely "active" measures had they been proposed by either administration.)

What I AM saying is that GWB & Co. DON'T want the American people to be aware of what GWB & Co. did know WHILE they are using 9-11 for purely political purposes.

I AM saying that they are ACTING LIKE people who have a lot to hide,and

they ARE NOT acting like responsible political leaders.

In other words, if, and I don't believe this, if they knew it was going to happen, they would act the way they are.

And if they had NO IDEA, they would be open and honest. Which they aren't.

I'm not placing blame on one Administration or another. I am saying that Bush & Co. are not doing anything to persuade reasonable people they didn't know a lot, a very lot.

We're into the waddle, quack, swim, fly thing again. They are not waddling, quacking and swimming like folks who didn't know a lot.

And they would rather have reasonable people assume the worst than be honest and open.
