Passion is fine, passion can be fun. Even mis-directed passion, if it's honest, is just dandy - after all, mis-direction is just a point of view.

You can be selfish, and stay quiet. Go ahead. That's fine. But every once in a while think of what you're doing to me, fer crissake! Leaving me with ed. Hell, T. B. is gone, doesn't understand the language as do I, misquotes me, calls me dishonest and inane, then ignores the reality. Can't talk to him.

I have to say, that's sounds conservative. Selfish as all hell, thinking only of themselves, leaving the poor, tired, huddled masses as represented by me all alone, talking to themselves, chasing their own tails instead of someone elses.
