Nobody has stated the things you say they have.
This has nothing to do with money having "intrinsic value."
It has to do with the idiotic idea that money looted from one sector of an economy or created out of nothing by the government, and then dropped into the hands of another sector of the economy, such as the mythical "consumer," can create real economic growth.
The amount of real wealth will not change. The amount of money required to purchase goods and services will increase.
As far as housing goes, you would think the recent practice of substituting an artificial monetary value for real market values, and the financial results, would teach you something about real and imaginary wealth.
