Current Events » in reply to Jimmy Carter: 'Their war was based on lies and misinterpretations

A guy interested in peace being savaged by folks interested in non-essential war.

Says a lot about our country. A Nobel Peace Prize winner, being criticized for advocating peace when our national security is not an issue. Doesn't think the leadership should lie to get the country involved in a war.

And to conservatives he's damn near a traitor. They didn't use the word, just the thoughts.

It's not as if that war, it's costs, or the suffering being caused is for anything but Halliburton. I mean, it's not a national security issue. Strictly optional.

And there are people who opt for savagery, cruelty and brutality, called war, and not for peace.

Sad.
