I can't remember when Bush told the truth. Or when he was responsible for anything. Carter is polite in his statements.
It's just goddamned depressing for a government of the US to have come to this. Where one cannot believe it, cannot trust it, and where it's wreaking havoc around the world apparently for the hell of it.
And financing about the cruelist ethnic cleansing, organized terrorism, military war against civilians, whatever you want to call it, going on about now.
If I were a conservative, I'd say some foul words.
Used to be one could believe the gov't. Trust the gov't to at least have the best interest of some folks besides the wealthy at heart. To be fair, and operate within the Constitution. No more.
And unreasoning, uncomprehending people support him. "Compassionate conservatives". My pink fanny!

The cumulative weight of all the lies is impressive, oppressive and depressing. (A rant.)
