sand dunes

Well,

There is enough atmosphere and wind right now on Mars to move sand into dunes and carry olivine all over the place.

When Mars had an atmosphere that could hold surface water, I'm sure there was plenty of wind too.

Evaporite basins and sabkhas may contain seasonal rivers that flow into them, or longshore currents from prevailing winds, or be disturbed by storm currents.

To get a better idea of the nature of this environment, we need more rocks.
