Yes, I disapprove of the government printing hundreds of billions of dollars out of nothing. They're doing it right now. They have to do this to stay in power. The results are likely to be what they've always been when a government tries to print its way out of economic stupidity.
It take a hundred dollars now to buy what it took about $3.50 to buy in 1900. A dollar right now is worth what 40 cents was when Reagan was elected.
Money is intended to represent some form of real wealth in a portable way. Gold, silver, eggs, corn, whatever. It's convenient when the money has intrinsic value, like gold coins, but it isn't essential. When economic idiots turn it into a complete abstraction, the results are always the same.
