What's profitable isn't always ethical.

In fact, it rarely is. The fanatasy world of happy producers cheerfully trading for mutual benefit is not impossible, but is rarely achieved in the real world.

Economics is a zero sum game. Wealth, can be destroyed, but it is never created unless someone is working his ass off. And the one doing the work isn't always the one accumulating the wealth. He who controls the bottlenecks, and plays the middleman, cleans up. Everybody else just punches a time clock.
