X-43a reached Mach 7 not Mach 10

Check out their website if you have doubts:

A scramjet will light up only around Mach 6. The minimum cruising speed is about Mach 7. A scramjet's maximum theoretical Mach number is around Mach 10 which was not attempted and may not be attempted anytime soon because of funding constraints. A Mach number to reach orbital velocity is about Mach 25.
