Yea! You're points are valid.
However, even a prototype "hush hush" Aurora
would have set air-breathing aircraft speed records.
Unofficial ones of course.
Time will tell if there is/was such a bird.
I mentioned Mach-10?
Yes, you're right...Mach-7 is more realistic.
