Defending North America

Tom Brosz — 4/2/2004 5:19:45 AM (archived)

I challenge you to come up with a single instance when the USA defended North America "all by itself".

I must have overlooked the immense number of Canadian ICBMs deterring the Soviet Union's atomic missile forces for decades.

What's really sad about all this is someday after some idiot country or terror group plants a missile in some city, there'll be endless hearings wondering why we didn't do something about it sooner.
