Agreed with a caveat

Always vote if you feel you have an informed opinion. If you can't tell the difference between two candidates (I'm often in this category for judicial positions, school boards, etc.), then leave the voting to the folks who have studied the candidates.

If your state has referendums then spend the time to study these! They are important, and the closest to a true democratic choice you will ever have.

I can't imagine that there won't have been enough coverage for a person to determine whether he would rather have Bush or Kerry as the next president. Like it or not those are the choices, and one of them will be president (barring something hideous). And hey, there's always Nader and Buchannon (is he running again?).
