re: Combining technologies?
I wonder what would happen if all the different methods were combined? Like filling a tokamak with deuterated acetone, applying a magnetic field, a z-machine type pulse of electricity and a laser beam.... well, I guess they'd have to have a reason. I think the fact that these different methods work at all, might mean they should be used together somehow to achieve something greater.
