re: The U.N. involvement is only a part of the problem
The US Administration has faulted in many ways, not just by avoiding a UN veto.
It has made completely wrong WMD claims.
It has invaded a sovereign country, UNPROVOKED.
It never had solid plans for rebuilding the peace and had no idea how chaotic a war can be.
If I were told, 5 years ago, that the US would invade another country and kill thousands of their citizens while none were involved in an earlier major terrorist attack, I would never have believed it.
