Bush as a "Compassionate Conservative" out to win the "hearts and minds" of the Iraqi people

Yes, we're liberating them allright.
But what can you expect when you declare war?
No wonder so many of us were against it in the first place.

If these people had invaded us or we had to protect our borders from them, then I could see this war. Instead, we have lost the moral high ground worldwide with actions like these.

I knew when Bush took the laws away that prohibited torture, that it gave us full license to go in and pillage and rape Iraq. And they changed the laws by withdrawing from international courts so no Americans could be charged with war crimes. He also removed the laws that prevented assassination of political leaders. Now you tell me what kind of rules you had to live by if you were an American soldier under orders to get whatever information you needed from the "enemy"?

This carnage is abhorrent. Not only am I appalled, but there is NO fixing this one. Bush has inflamed the whole arab world against us and there is NO going back.
It will not be safe to travel, and I would guess that muslims in this country will want to take revenge on YOUR sons and daughters.

No stoppin this un "holy" war......
