A good touchstone for separating the hard Left from more rational liberals is asking them how they feel about the war in Afghanistan.

Note the text in Rall's cartoon:

"Tillman, who earned $18,000, falsely believed Bush's wars against Iraq and Afghanistan had something to do with 9/11."

A.N.S.W.E.R. and their ilk fall firmly into the same category as Rall.
