You didn't address my thesis that Tillman had admirable principles, the same that many others have had. That people's principles have led them in opposite directions did not change the nature of those principles or the character of the folks with the courage to actually put their bodies on the line for them.
You said, "If you want to talk principles, fine." Then you wandered off-topic, not talking about principles. My guess is that the principle isn't understandable to you or you might have addressed the topic.
OK. To your issue. Regarding human shields. As I recall, you were one of the people advocating wasting the human shields. Conservatives in general spoke glowingly of how those folks wouldn't be missed, in a number of ways. And the human shields left before the invasion because they knew Cheney/bush would cheerfully blow them to smithereens. Shocking and aweing the entire world with their determination. Wouldn't have bothered them a bit. Or you, from the posts.
Even a column of Chinese tanks stopped in Tienamen Square when faced with a shield.
And Tom, in all fairness, I don't believe I am the champion blusterer. "Sick and tired" of hearing people disagree is a phrase some use. They also use foul language rather frequently. I have done that, using the term "bullshit" recently, even, and I'm just not as good at it as some we all know. Unless "True Believer" is considered foul language.
