Radioactive pollution is to be feared, BUT Uneducated irrational fear of all things nuclear is a serious problem... I have seen this fear do much harm...

For instance- the medical tool of "Magnetic Resonance Imaging" is actually "Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging" Nuclear was dropped because it scared people... Most of the ignorant fools that view 'nuclear' as a scary term dont even know what radiation is- like those that protested Cassini, ask them what an RTG is or what fission is and the answers will be hilarious...

I view those that deny global warming is real with the same contempt...

The sad thing is that the ignorant outnumber the educated and so they set public policy...
