Sea power
This concept has been around a long time, and it's good to hear that they're making some technological improvements. Might not be a lot of help in Nebraska, though, or anywhere else you don't have access to a 3,000-foot-deep offshore trench.
That being said, Hawaii is a good market for it, and there are no doubt many coastal cities where this could be made to work. Advantage over normal solar power--it works at night.
Frankly, I would like to see a hundred flowers of technology bloom. This will only be encouraged if oil prices continue to go up.
