One thing I'm seeing, I think, is that dreaming "styles" divide into two types: Sustained narratives, like you and SDAI report; and the vignettes or fragments that Rob and I report.
Then there's the extremely analytical nature of that dream. You never actually saw any zombies...I think that what you had might have actually been a dream about the process of analyzing the problems of zombies. You were dreaming about thinking and problem-solving. For me, one of the common types of "banal and forgettable" dream I have are dreams about programming. I don't solve any particular coding problem that might have been lurking in my subconscious, but I dream about the process of writing code, and I see structured blocks of program text that are weirdly "greeked".
