This is a transparent ploy. A week ago, the man may have held the hope of being released, but with the internet overloaded now with pics from Abu Ghraib, what we end up with is a media-thing called "opportunity". And it's a great little al-Qai'da recruiting film, far better than the hearsay regarding Iraqi women being raped by Coalition infidels all over Baghdad.
I feel that Nick Berg's death should be brought against those already, and soon to be indicted for crimes committed at Abu Ghraib. Of course, while Berg's death may be brought in as evidence, it will likely remain attributed directly to al-Qai'da, and the "linked-to" group that killed him.
